With COYA’s 10-year anniversary coming up on Saturday the 12h of November, COYA Dubai is thrilled to look back on all the core brand activations that have been held in the lead up to the landmark global celebration.
Over the past year, every COYA venue from across the globe (including London, Paris, Monte-Carlo, Mykonos, Riyadh and Doha) has come together to celebrate the Peruvian lifestyle brand’s 10-year milestone with a number of collaborative, creative and imaginative activations.
Honouring the fact that it has been a whole decade since the first COYA opened in Mayfair, London in 2012, music lovers were invited to gather in Dubai for COYA MUSIC’s first ever musical festival. The in-house record label hosted a day-to-night party on the Palm Jumeirah, treating guests to tunes from COYA MUSIC resident DJs from across the globe.
Further strengthening COYA’s musical DNA, COYA MUSIC then released an exclusive, two-sided vinyl record, featuring 10 tracks from the in-house label.
Highlighting COYA’s prominent art element and its commitment to supporting up-and-coming artists, COYA Dubai united local talents for the global Pisco Jar Art Project. Each creative skillfully decorated a total of 10 jars with their own signature style and flare, adding a priceless addition to each branch’s pisco library.
Taking its passion for art and design into the future, the lifestyle brand then collaborated with global digital artists to create its first ever collection of NFTs. Inspired by the culture of Peru and the unique personality of each different COYA location, the full NFT exhibition is now available to purchase on the art page of COYA’s website.
COYA then collaborated with 1615 Pisco, its distillery partner for the past 10 years, to create the world’s first passion fruit-flavoured bottled pisco infusion. Fresh, fruity and flavoured with delicious Peruvian passion fruits, only limited number of bottles will be available to sample in COYA Dubai. This blend will be available at COYA venues in the U.K. and Europe early in 2023.
Today, COYA is inviting friends and family to join in the grand finale of the 10-year anniversary celebrations on Sunday, November 13. To commemorate the milestone, each COYA across the global will be offering 10 special dishes that represent each year of COYA. Diners are taken all the way back to the birth year of COYA in 2012 to savour sumptuous dishes like Beterraga y Queso with golden beetroot, aji amarillo, goat cheese and hazelnuts, Pez Espada al Coco Ceviche with swordfish, coconut milk and aji limo, Lubina Equatoriana Ceviche with sea bass, tomato tiger and avocado, and many more iconic and unforgettable creations from across COYA’s entire 10-year journey.
Adding extra allure and contagious energy, the celebration will feature three live DJs from COYA MUSIC and live singer Aleksandra Krstic
